Your Social Selling Index (SSI) score is a powerful metric that measures how effective you are at establishing your professional brand, finding the right people, engaging with insights, and building relationships on LinkedIn.

The LinkedIn SSI score is a measure of your social selling skills and execution on LinkedIn. It’s divided into four key components:

Each component is scored out of 25, making the highest possible SSI score 100. A good SSI score for someone who is an employee at a company, where their role doesn’t primarily involve selling, typically falls in the range of 60-70. This range indicates that the individual is effectively using LinkedIn to build their professional brand, engage with their network, and share valuable insights, even if they aren’t directly involved in sales activities. However, scores can vary based on industry and individual activity levels, so it’s important to focus on continuous improvement rather than a specific number.

How to Find Your SSI Score

Finding your LinkedIn SSI score is easy:

  1. Go to LinkedIn’s SSI page.
  2. Log in to your LinkedIn account if prompted.
  3. Voilà! You’ll see your SSI score along with a breakdown of the four components.
